Award surveying Company, Inc., was founded in 2003 by Paul Ward after many years of service with the oldest land surveying firm in Tarrant County. In the surveying industry for 25 years, Mr. Ward has built a reputation of producing a reliable, high-quality survey product that his clients could depend on.
The foundation for Award Surveying Company, Inc.'s success is built upon sound surveying principles, smart use of technology, delivery of quality products and the right personnel for the job. Being centrally located in Fort Worth enables us to provide service to the surrounding counties as well as throughout the state.
Since our inception, Award Surveying Company, Inc. has grown from being a one person surveying outfit to one that now has three robotic crews, one GPS crew and four office professionals. We look forward to renewing old relationships and building many new ones in the future.

About Land Surveying
Land surveying is the art and science of establishing or reestablishing corners, lines, boundaries, and monuments of real property (land), based upon recorded documents, historical evidence, and present standards of practice. Land Surveying also includes associated services such as analysis and utilization of survey data, subdivision planning and design, writing legal descriptions, mapping, construction layout, and precision measurements of angle, elevation, length, area and volume.
Land surveying is advisable:
- Before a boundary dispute arises when there is uncertainty of property location.
- Before designing or constructing major improvements such as buildings, roads, fences, landscaping, pools, etc.
- Before land is bought, sold, segregated or subdivided.
